Park Info: Just across the harbour from the historic town of Shelburne, The Islands Provincial Park offers a restful stop on your trip around the South Shore. Bounded by Shelburne Harbour, it offers visitors a maritime camping experience. Shelburne's many museums, shops, and picturesque charm continue to attract thousands of international visitors each year.

Come out and enjoy fresh air with outdoor fun at the 7th Annual Harvest Fair & 29th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh-in. The fun begins Friday evening with a bonfire and music and continues Saturday with FREE events for all ages to enjoy. Morning activities include giant pumpkin weigh in, face painting, pumpkin carving and seed swap. Afternoon activities include t-shirt decorating, doughnut eating, obstacle course, cake/cupcake walks and much, much more. Saturday night there's a movie night for the children and stargazing for everyone. Join our Facebook page "Giant Pumpkin Festival and Harvest Fair" for the latest information and updates.
